There’s not one day that does by that I don’t think of her. I have a million memories to keep me warm until we meet again, but it’s not her. I miss Polly more than words can express even still today. I thank God each day for my time with her. She loved her family so much. She was so proud of her kids and grandkids. I hope it’s not weird to write all of this all these years later. I’ve been thinking of her a lot lately.

Hi, I was so sorry to hear of Polly’s passing. Polly was a very special person to me while I was living in Murfreesboro & teaching at Chowan. Polly gave me some individual art lessons & was always so helpful to me in so many friends. I missed her from the day she moved and my sincere sympathies to all of you. Love, Janie
