Nelia Butler Baisey, 68, died Sunday, December 28, 2014.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Sunnyside Cemetery in Scotland Neck. The Reverend Doctor Allen Cherry will be presiding.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Letchworth Funeral Home in Scotland Neck.
Nelia was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Aubrey Eugene “Gene” Butler, Jr.
Nelia is survived by her husband, Kenneth R. Baisey, Sr.; her sons, Wade Butler and wife Leigh of Scotland Neck and Harris Butler and wife Tommy of Rocky Mount; her step-children, Sara Elizabeth Trickie and husband Jerry of Atlanta, GA, Kenneth R. Baisey, Jr. and wife Susie of Norfolk, VA, and William Scott Baisey and wife Elyse of Lewistown, PA; her sister, Becky Vicars of Scotland Neck; her brother, Mahlon Braddy and wife Louise of Scotland Neck; four grandchildren, Jenni Tutor, Summer Butler, William Butler, and Adam Butler; two step-grandchildren, Madeline Baisey and Tyler Huckaby; her niece, Sharon Braddy of Raleigh; and her nephew, Tim Parker and wife Karen of Scotland Neck.
