Nella Frances Collier, 78, of Woodland, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2014 at her residence with her family by her side.
She was born on April 10, 1936 to Robert and Minnie Bryd Bryant in Northampton County, NC. Nella was a homemaker all of her life. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, “Wimpie” Bryant.
Nella is survived by her husband Perry; daughter, Debbie C. Floyd and her husband, Alton of Florence, SC; two sons, Perry Lee Collier Jr. and his wife, Yvonne and Robert Luther Collier and his wife, Pam, both of Woodland, brother, Ralph Bryant and his wife, Patsy of Lasker; eight grandchildren: Ray Floyd and his wife, Summer; Chris Floyd and his wife, Sarah; Corey Floyd; Chris Collier, Stephanie Collier; Todd Frazer; Johnathan Collier and his wife, Jessica; Jessica Collier; three great-grandchildren: Bryson Floyd, Matthew Collier, and Brendon Davis.
Visitation will be held Sunday, November 16, 2014, from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm at Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service, Rich Square, NC.
A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, November 17, 2014, at 2:00 pm at the Potecasi Baptist Church with the Rev Ricky Browder, Rev.Ronnie Conner, and Rev. Marie Jones officiating, and burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery.
