My thoughts and prayers are with Nellie, Thomas and the family. Mrs Chamblee was like a mom to me while in college and I was away from my mom. She always made me feel welcomed and loved. God has definitely gained someone special in Heaven.

Nanny was the sweetest person and the biggest advocate of the Hertford-Northampton Co 4H Livestock Show and Sale. She was always at the show cheering the kids on to smile and do the best they could do. I met the Chamblee’s in 4H and they have helped my family so much. The show will be hard next year with that empty seat on the front row, but I hope Nellie and Tom Tom will continue to come and support the kids. Nanny made my grand baby a blanket and I believe it was the last one she made and it means so much to us that she thought of us and worked so hard to make it as it was a big task with her health like it was. Thanks Nanny for touching my family in the ways u did and I promise u I will never forget u. Love you Nanny so much, rest in peace til we meet again. Love, Melundy
