HAMPTON, VA – Patricia Glazier Harrell, age 76, formerly of Harrellsville, NC, passed away on July 5, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her family, and as she would always say FPSS (fat, pretty, sexy and sassy).
Mrs. Harrell was born in Newport News, VA, on January 6, 1941 a daughter of the late William Frank and Pauline Pittman Glazier. Patricia was a former member of Christian Harbor Baptist Church and had retired as a Private Duty Nurse, sitting for numerous patients over the years. She was a loving mother and grandmother who adored her family.
Besides her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Linwood “Buddy” Graham Harrell, her daughter, Bonnie Jean Wright, and a brother, William Frank Glazier, III.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Joyce Harrell Daniels and husband, Terron of Hampton, VA; her son, Linwood Graham Harrell Jr., and wife, Connie of Aulander, NC; a sister, Phyllis Ann Robbins and husband, Ricky of Newport News, VA; a brother, Edward Francis Glazier and wife, Linda of Newport News, VA; a sister-in-law, Cathy Glazier, Newport News, VA; Four grandsons, Buddy Wright, Patrick Wright, Linwood Harrell, III, and Benjamin Harrell; 6 great grandchildren; and a number of step grand and great grandchildren.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 9, 2017, at 2:00 pm at Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service in Ahoskie, NC, with Rev. Lloyd Dunlow, officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
