AULANDER, NC – Patricia Lynn Williams, age 58, of Millennium, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2020 in Columbia, SC.
Lynn was born on June 15, 1962 to John Quincy and Judith Lassiter Williams in Hertford County, NC. Lynn was a devoted member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and loved her church family. She graduated from Ahoskie High School and went on to further her education at UNC Chapel Hill, where she was a proud alumnus and an avid UNC basketball fan. Lynn enjoyed going to concerts, mainly Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, working in the yard, baking cakes, and spending time with her family. She always had that infectious smile that would light up any room. She was full of life, loving everyone and everything. She had more children than anyone to have never had kids herself, however nothing could hold a candle to her nephews and her great nephew. Lynn cherished them and would do anything she could to help them. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
Besides her father, she was preceded in death by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Left to cherish Lynn’s memory is her mother, sister, Johnna Williams Godwin and husband Mitch of Ahoskie; two nephews, Mitchell Godwin and wife Ashley of Greenville, and Quincy Godwin of Ahoskie; great-nephew, Brayden White; and her fur baby companion, BJ; along with many extended family and friends.

I was so very sorry to read about the passing of Lynn. I taught her in the 8th grade at Ahoskie Middle School in 1976. I had the good fortune to run into her some years later when I returned to Ahoskie and she was the same happy Lynn that I remembered and she greeted me with a big hug. I will always remember her smile, her bubbly personality, that joyous spirit and her being an excellent student. It was a joy to have her in my classroom and to experience getting to know her. I know she will be missed by everyone that knew her and shared happy times with her. Thanks Lynn for the joy that you brought to me in my classroom and your other classmates. Rest In Peace Forever.
So sorry for you loss but just remember all the GOOD TIMES and GREAT MEMORIES and let them live on forever or until you meet again for more memories

Dear Williams Family: We want to send our thoughts and prayers to you upon the passing from this earth to the heavenly plain that Lynn has done. When we moved 500 miles to this peacefully, rural community, Lynn was one of the first people to welcome us. She was always giving a wave and a smile every time she would see us. She was a light to this dim world and will truly be missed. Thank you Lynn for just being you while on this earth. GOD SPEED!
Lynn was a very unique, special, and irreplaceable person. She would just tell you how it is. She loved so big and you knew if she love you cause she would tell you. Her laugh is something I will always remember. She is one of the most genuine people I know. Her nephews and family were everything to her! She will be missed very much! Prayers and hugs are sent out to the family for I know this is a huge loss.
May God bless and keep during this time of sorrow. RIP Class Mate
Lynn was truly an affirmation that friendship and community are the true measures of wealth. In Short She was as the Hymanal goes a Tie that Bound us all for the AHS Class of 1980. She was instrumental in assisting in the organization of many of our class reunions because she was loved and respected by all. we Love You Lynn…Rest in Peace….

I cherish the time we had together at HospiCare Rx. Lynn had a big heart and loved life. Her infectious smile would light up a room. She
