Patricia Whitley “Pat” Keeter, 76, died Friday, February 21, 2014.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 24, 2014 at Hope Free Will Baptist Church in Scotland Neck. Interment will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery. The Reverend Matthew Jones will be presiding.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Letchworth Funeral Home in Scotland Neck.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Keeter; her son, Redmond “Boochie” Keeter; her parents, William and Daisy Whitley; and her sisters, Blondell Brown, Minnie Whitley, Hope Keeter, and Ellen Keeter.
She is survived by her sons, Bobby Keeter and wife Terry and Billy Keeter and wife Sally all of Scotland Neck; her sister, Joyce Ann Bass of Rocky Mount; her daughter-in-law, Beverly Keeter of Scotland Neck; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Letchworth Funeral Home in Scotland Neck.
