GASTON, NC – Peggy Ann Vick Moseley, age 72, of Old Emporia Road, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Vidant North Hospital in Roanoke Rapids, NC.
Peggy was born on July 27, 1949 in Northampton County. She cherished her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending her spare time fishing, watching westerns on the television, or dancing at the Chattahoochee. Peggy loved flowers and watching them grow. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Vick Wheeler, her husband Bruce Moseley, and brothers, Kenny Wheeler, and Andrew Vick.
Left to cherish Peggy’s memory are three daughters, Sherry Natoli and husband Joe of Clearwater, FL, Carlette Spruill and fiancé’ Johnny Jones of Aulander, and Jennifer Cale and fiancé’ Wesley Thomas of Gaston; son, Daniel Cale and wife Pam of Aulander; eight grandsons, Nicholas Williford, Thomas Spruill and wife Jessica, Chris Spruill, Parker Cale, Timothy Johnson, Justin Johnson, Kalob Jones and fiancé’ Cody Burton, and Josh Thomas; five granddaughters, Stephanie Williford, Victoria Northcott and husband Jeffery, Amber Cale, Michelle Johnson, and Paige Thomas; four great-granddaughters, Olivia Worley, Maggie Northcott, Clara Northcott, and Everly McIntyre; two brothers, Raymond Wheeler of Roanoke Rapids, and Alton Ray of Suffolk, VA; sister, Janet Powers of Virginia; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm at Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service, Rich Square, NC and other times at the home.
A celebration of life graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at 2:00 pm at the Cedarwood Cemetery, Roanoke Rapids, NC, with Rev. Greg Hurdle officiating.
