Peter Rabbit, Tommy H., Tommy J., Bettie H., Sandra M., and I graduated from West Bertie High School in 1961.

Robert left the area for several years but returned. It was nice to have him back in our group. He attended the last reunion and had a good time.

We will miss his presence but we will join him in the future.

I am so sorry for your loss. “Rabbit” and I grew up together in Roxobel-Kelford and we graduated from school together. I always looked forward to seeing him each year at our class reunion since I lived out of town. He was a special friend to me. I will truely miss him. What a great picture to have to cherish his memories – that’s Rabbit!

My sympathy goes out to all of his family. We graduated from High School together and I have known him all of my life. He always stopped in at Southern Bank to say hel-lo. I will remember him as a good friend. I will miss seeing him and hearing him say “I just stopped in to let you know that I am still here”. I visited him about 3 wks. ago and we had a nice visit. He still knew who I was and could talk to us. Again, I will miss him.
