Rosita Costales Guynn, 68, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017 at her home in Woodland.

Rosita was born on November 9, 1948 in Casilagan Nauqulian, La Union, Philippines to the late Nicomedes Costales and Alejandra Cacdac Costales.  She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  Rosita loved her family and was the mother to many.  She and her husband, Ken, enjoyed each other’s company, whether it was going out for a simple bite to eat or getting on a cruise ship to a foreign land.

Preceded in death by her brothers, Paulino Costales and Earnesto Costales; and her sister, Pacita Padua.

Rosita is survived by her devoted husband, Kenneth Guynn; her daughter, Renae Portillo; her sister, Aida Juaquin; her brothers, Villamor Costales, Venancio Costales, and Rogulio Costales; her grandchildren, Jessica Schaller and Robert Phelps; and her great-grandchildren, Harmony Watford and Joseph Caldalera, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service of Rich Square.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service of Rich Square. Entombment will follow at Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Pastor Ricky Browder will be presiding.
