Ruth Faye Hope Fultz

TARBORO, NC – Ruth Faye Hope Fultz, age 80, passed away on June 5, 2019 at the Vidant Medical Center of Greenville, NC surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Fultz was born on December 30, 1938 to Frank and Ethelle Estelle Etheridge Hope in Wayne County, NC. Ruth worked as a seamstress for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. Ruth loved angels and had a huge collection around her house. She enjoyed being outdoors whenever possible. Ruth was a great friend to many and will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore “Ted” Fultz.

Ruth is survived by two sons, Thomas “Tommy” Allen Coley and wife Adell of Fuquay Varina, NC, and Howard Earl Coley of Tarboro, NC; two daughters, Angelia “Susie” Jean Garner and husband Ricky of Kinston, NC, and Gail Elizabeth Carraway and husband Steven of Hookerton, NC; brother, Jimmy Hope and wife Ida; two sisters, Barbara Ann Millard and Betty Jean Hughes, all of Wayne County, NC; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 11:00 am at Wake Chapel Church in Fuquay Varina, NC with the assistance of Thomas Funeral Home.
