Brenda and Gloria,
We learned late today about Ms. Ruth’s passing. I wanted you to know how very sorry I am. Unfortunately, I am still working and also have 2 appointments tomorrow so will be impossible for me to travel to Ahoskie, but know that my thoughts will be with you.
She was like a second mother to me as I spent so much time at your house growing up! I love you all and even though we don’t see each other in this busy world we live in, we will one day all be together again in our final home. We can join in that heavenly choir with our parents. I am sure my daddy is singing right along with Mr. Raymond and all of the Lassiter brothers! God bless each of you and our prayers are with you during this time.

Brenda, Gloria, Dianne and other family members, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Ruth was one of the sweetest people we knew. Our prayer is that God.s love will fill the void each of you must feel as only He can, Heaven,s gain is our lose. Her loving smile and easy spirit will be missed. But, by God,s grace we can see Ruth again but we must go where she is.
Love and prayers,
David & Mary Ann Lassiter
