WOODLAND, NC – Sharon Lee Eason Colson, age 62, of Hebron Church Road, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2020 at the Vidant Roanoke Chowan Hospital of Ahoskie, NC.
Mrs. Colson was born on December 23, 1957 to the late Kaygie McRose Eason and Elsie Carley Eason in Norfolk, VA. She was a dedicated member of Rich Square Baptist Church. Sharon loved her family and enjoyed collecting pigs and angels. She always volunteered at school to help out in anyway she could, and loved to go shopping. Sharon was loved by all that knew her and she will be deeply missed by family and friends.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Jesse, her son, Thomas McRoe Colson of Virginia Beach, VA; a granddaughter, Maya Elizabeth Colson of Virginia Beach, VA; a brother, Junior Ray Eason and wife Sandy of Virginia Beach, VA; and two sisters, Emily Eason Paulhus of Virginia Beach, VA, and Tina Eason of Newport News, VA, and a very special fur baby, Tigger.
The families wishes are that there will be no services at this time.

I WAS SO sorry to hear of Sharon’s death. She fought a long hard battle and now she is at peace but that doesn’t make your loss any less painful. God bless you and I hope you and Tommy will soon find the peace you must get after your loss.
