Sheila Delores Terry Bradley, age 59, of Silo Farm, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at the Vidant Medical Center of Greenville, NC after a courageous battle with breast cancer.
Sheila was born on April 1, 1961 to Robert James Terry and Linda Lassiter Terry in Ahoskie, NC. Sheila started her career in banking right out of high school. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Sheila married her best friend in 88′ which formed what we know as the “Bradley Bunch”. She loved her five children unconditionally and being called mom, but nothing gave her more pleasure than being called grandma, “MawMaw”. Mike and Sheila started a career in real estate where they have developed many long-lasting friendships. She looked forward to traveling the world with one of her favorites vacation spots being St. Thomas. Sheila was always up for an adventure, new scenery, and could usually be found on a cruise ship. She could light up any room with her vibrant smile. She was always trying to fix everything for everyone, always there when someone needed her. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Nicholas Cayden Brown.
Left to cherish Sheila’s memory is the love of her life, Mike, two daughters, Melanie Stephenson White and friend, Kyle Hedges, and Lindsey Stephenson Brown and friend, Stormy Butts, both of Aulander; three sons, George Michael Bradley and wife Patricia, John Bradley and wife Story, Matt Bradley and wife Joanna, all of Ahoskie; two sisters, Sharon Towell and husband Chris, and Michelle Elayah, both of Aulander; her sister from another mother, Bonnie Langdale and husband Larry of Kill Devil Hills; two brothers, Coy Terry of Kill Devil Hills, and Allen Moody and wife Norma of Kinston; nine granddaughters, Taylor White, Lila Grace Bray, Caydence Brown, Georgia Bradley, Kelsey Bradley, Myah Bradley, Bryleigh Bradley, Ellie Bradley, and Presley Butts; nine grandsons, Kevin Shaver, Fletcher White, Edward Bradley and friend Kaley, Parker Bradley, Austin Bradley, Kaleb Bradley, Cole Bradley, Eli Thomas, and Owen Jenkins; great-grandson, Noah Bradley; grandmother, Myrtle Terry of Ahoskie; two brothers-in-law, Marshall Bradley and wife Lynn of Franklin, VA, Kenny Bradley and wife Andrea of Ahoskie; sister-in-law, Gayle Deanes and husband Tommy of Aulander; along with a host of nieces and nephews. #noonefightsalone
