Her loving and generous spirit touched the lives of many, and her legacy will be cherished for years to come.

Stephanie’s career as a Registered Nurse with Hertford County Health Department Home Health and Golf coach at Ridgecroft School for two years exemplified her passion for helping others.  Having taken several classes in art, Stephanie was an accomplished artist, which she enjoyed in her spare time. Stephanie was a devoted wife to Don Marshburn and a loving mother to her two sons, Chad (Melissa) Marshburn of Liberty, SC, and Nick (Kristina) Marshburn of Winterville, NC. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, Wynn Marshburn and Owen Marshburn of Liberty, SC, as well as McKenzie Marshburn and Clara Marshburn of Winterville, NC. Stephanie is also survived by her two sisters, Robin (Robert) Winslow of Sunbury, NC, and Rhonda (Scott) Powell of Eure, NC, as well as her brother-in-law, Morris (Toni) Marshburn of Wake Forest, NC. She also leaves behind three nieces, Hannah (Dain) Winslow of Sunbury, NC, Willa Powell of Virginia, and Kara Marshburn of Raleigh, NC; and a nephew, Kyle (Ashley) Marshburn of Wilmington, NC.

The visitation for Stephanie will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023, from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service, Ahoskie, NC.
