Terra Golding Scott, 61, died Monday, October 21, 2013.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at the Hobgood United Methodist Church. The Reverend Forrest Smith will be presiding.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 25, 2013 at Letchworth Funeral Home in Scotland Neck.
Terra was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She attended Hobgood United Methodist Church and ran the lunchroom at Hobgood Academy for many years.
Terra is survived by her sons, Todd Scott and wife Nicole of Wilmington, Mike Scott, Jr. and wife Angie of Dayton, OH, and Tracy Lynn Scott of Florida; nine grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Hobgood United Methodist Church, c/o Amanda Elkins, P.O. Box 67, Hobgood, NC 27843.
Arrangements are being handled by Letchworth Funeral Home in Scotland Neck.
