WOODLAND, NC – Timothy Ronald Jernigan, age 32, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020 from injuries incurred in an auto accident.
Timothy was born on in Ahoskie, NC, on June 26, 1988. He was the son of William Thomas Jernigan and Carolyn Godley Smith. Timothy worked as a Diesel Mechanic for Franklin Lumber Company. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting. Tim loved animals and enjoyed playing with his dogs. He loved spending time with all his family, but most of all, his children. He was a fun-loving man who will be missed by all who knew him.
Left to cherish his memory are his two daughters, Madison Jernigan of Conway, NC, Emma Jernigan of Windsor, NC; five sons, John Jernigan of Conway, NC, Jacob Harding of Woodland, NC, Tim Jernigan, Jr. of Windsor, NC, and Gabriel Kellogg, and Abel Kellogg of Woodland, NC; his fiancée, Tina Harding of Woodland, NC; his father, William T. Jernigan and wife, Nancy of Ahoskie, NC; his mother, Carolyn Godley Smith and husband, Carlton of Ahoskie, NC; three brothers, Winson Barnes and wife, Stacy of Greenville, NC, Thomas Jernigan and wife, Nicky of Ahoskie, NC, and Michael Dilday and wife, Kayla of Lincolnton, NC; two sisters, Tiffany Jernigan of Hubert, NC and Shelly Dilday of Lincolnton, NC. and his birth mother, Mary Ellen Frady and husband, Edward of Lincolnton, NC.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Monday, August 17, 2020, at 11:00 am at the Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service, Ahoskie, NC, with Rev. Al Jarrell, officiating.

I’ve known Tim since we were teenagers… always happy and fun to be around.. gone too soon but most definitely never forgotten.. sending all my love and prayers to his family
