A light went out in the world tonight
A very special kind of light
A man with dazzling eyes of blue
Whose clever mind could dazzle, too!
And hands that played the keys so well
And a heart more generous than words can tell
And though his body failed him so much, he always managed to keep in touch!
With calls, n birthday flowers he sent
He never knew how much they meant!
But now his suffering is gone
And that dear light has traveled on,
But I will miss his gentle way
And will think of him every day
Until I make the pearly gate
Where we’ll embrace, and stay up late
just reminiscing–with no more tears,
Just like we did for these past years,
And praise the Lord, but without end—
Just me and my old Special Friend!
Hasta la Vista, Jules! –SusanA

To the family of Julian Robertson
We have always appreciated the friendship of Julian and we were honored when he played for our wedding 50 years ago. Of course the Robertson family always meant a lot to Lawrence and it was a pleasure for me to get to know the family too. He was such a gentleman, a churchman,a good businessman and friend. He will be missed in many ways.
