COLERAIN, NC – Willie Junious Stephenson, Jr., age 71, of North Main Street., passed away on Monday morning, September 14, 2020 at the Vidant Duplin Hospital in Kenansville, NC.
Willie was born on September 8, 1949 to the late Willie Junious Stephenson, Sr. and Emma Lee Stephenson in Paterson, New Jersey. Willie worked at the Newport News Shipyard. He had a great passion for playing the guitar and singing with friends. He enjoyed spending time with his family, acting goofy and there was nothing like a good ole piece of sweet potato pie and fried chicken. Willie was loved by many and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Willie is survived by his children, Carlton Stephenson, Jennifer Stephenson, Chastity Stephenson, Ryan Stephenson, Emma Stephenson, and Gavin Stephenson; twin cousins, Sharon and Karen Jarrett; the mother of four of his children, Misty Stephenson-Harris, and many friends and extended family.
There will be no service at this time.

Willie and I shared four children together, he was quite the jokester and one heck of a guitar player.
